According to TMZ, Metallica Frontman James Hetfield reportedly filed for divorce from his wife of over two decades.
James Hetfield met his now ex-wife Francesca in 1992, then married in 1997. They are reportedly still in touch as they will be co-parenting their daughters Cali, 20, and Marcella, 16, and their son Castor, 18.
James has been open about his hardships in the past his anxiety, addiction, and self-esteem due to many problems in his past life. This past May in Brazil, during a concert, admitting to the audience he has been ”feeling a little bit insecure” as of late.
Most recently last fall, he discussed with someone the transformation he had to undergo during their 1991-93 tour for their self-titled album, “Metallica,” which is one of the top-selling records of all time.
