Life of a Curly-Haired Girl

Ever since I was little I’ve always gotten compliments on my hair because it’s curly and I still do. Growing up it has always been a struggle to keep it nice and not frizzy, so whenever people say “I love your hair,” I always respond with “I wish I had straight hair.”  People tell me I’m so lucky to have curly hair and I used to not feel lucky about it because it never cooperated with me and never did what I wanted it to do. As I started getting older I started to straighten my hair. My mom didn’t want me to do it all the time so I did it once in a while. Now I’m so glad I stopped because I started to notice my hair being dry. I wanted to make my hair alive and look how it looked when I was little. I started taking care of and having a routine for my hair. Curly hair is something that takes a lot of time and love. Caring for it takes time to find what products work with your type of curly hair. Ever since I started getting regular haircuts and even asking people with curly hair what they use, my hair has been exactly how I want it to be. If anybody has curly hair I recommend that you keep it because all types of curly hair are beautiful and are a special feature that not a lot of people have.
