This volleyball game was against Tulare Western in Tulare Western gym and it was a very intense game. It was an away game that resulted in a WIN! We were able to battle against them and pull off the win. The game was very difficult and very nerve-racking since the game went to 5 sets. The 1st set we lost, 2nd set we won, 3rd set we lost, 4th set we won, 5th set we won. There was a huge student section that was chanting with cheerleaders on the sideline, trying to get into our player head. However, our team was able to ignore the cheers and play our game. The final 5th set was going back and forth until finally, the score ended with 16-18 with us winning by two points. The final point was when we served the ball, the Mustangs received the ball passing and setting when the hitter decided to tip the ball. When the outside hitter went to tip the ball our EL D miners watched the ball and tracked it to the end line resulting in the ball being out of bounds. Our whole team and coaching staff came running to the court to celebrate the big and long victory! With a happy smile and relief from the big win that made everyone nervous and on their toes. Leading our volleyball team record of 6-2, ready for the next game!
