Things in the MLB are shaking up. Playoffs are coming up soon. The AL East is close with the Yankees sitting in the number one spot with 87 wins and 56 losses. And trailing by six games is the Toronto Blue Jays with 81 wins and 63 losses. But only one slip-up by the Blue Jays could put the Rays into 2nd place as the Rays are one game behind. The AL Central is a little weak though with the first-place team having 76 wins and 66 losses and that is the Guardians. The White Sox are two games behind the Guardians. In the Al West the Astros are having a monster season with 96 wins and 50 losses so far. The Astros will take the division with the Mariners trailing 14 games! Now for the National League. This year the NL East is fairly close as the Mets have 90 wins and 55 losses but are also the best closer in the league this year. Only two games behind are the Atlanta Braves with 88 wins and 55 losses. For the NL Central, it is an above-average year for the Cardinals as they have 84 wins and 60 losses. In second place is the Brewers with 76 wins and 67 losses going above 500! And last in the NL West top of the power rankings are the Los Angeles Dodgers with 98 wins and only 44 losses. The Padres are in second with 78 wins and 66 losses. The Padres also had one of the most political trades this year accruing Juan Soto from the Nationals. This season is close so who will close the deal on the wild card spots?
