The Try Guys are a group consisting of four men (Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld, Eugene Lee Yang, and Ned Fulmer) who had previously worked at Buzzfeed. Wanting to do more than what they were given at Buzzfeed, they came together and created their own company and Youtube channel together. The four men gained lots of support from fans they had during their time at Buzzfeed, and continued to grow in popularity after starting their own business. As the Try Guys, they were known for being four tight-knit friends who try doing new and obscure things in their videos. However, with their latest few videos posted to their Youtube channel, fans have begun to question the friendship displayed on camera with the sudden disappearance of Ned Fulmer. Since the beginning of their channel, all four men had been present in nearly all of their videos. One of the guys being missing for a video has not been a big deal, but Fulmer has been absent from the last 3 videos.
People had many speculations as to why this could be, but as of September 25th, leaked photos of Fulmer kissing the Try Guys’ producer, Alexandria Herring, were posted online by Herring’s now former fiance for millions to bear witness to. What makes the situation all that much worse is that Ned Fulmer had his internet persona to be the “wife guy;” he had made all of his character traits around the fact that he loved his wife and would do anything for her.
Both fans and haters of the Try Guys went frantic, some publicly criticizing Fulmer while others wanted to wait for confirmations to be posted before forming an opinion. Alas, only two days later on September 27th, both Fulmer and the Try Guys’ official social media accounts posted saying that Ned Fulmer would no longer be working with the Try Guys. Even Fulmer’s wife, Ariel Fulmer, posted on Instagram, asking everyone to please respect her and her husband’s privacy while they handle their marriage on their own. So far, the one person who has yet to comment on the situation is Alexandria Herring, the woman Fulmer had the affair with.
It’s uncertain what life holds for Ned Fulmer, but all we can really hope is the best for him and his family.
