A phenomenon that amazed people all over the world from the very beginning of their existence: Blackpink is back! And they struck like never before with their brand new album “Born Pink”, released on September 16, 2022, alongside the music video for their title track “Shut Down”. Prior to that, they uploaded their pre-release songs “Pink Venom” and “Ready For Love”, which have gained a lot of traction, since they were the first group songs from the girls after 2 years of waiting (“Lovesick Girls” MV was released on October 1, 2020). This gap between the last releases is justified by the fact that individual members of the group were starting their own careers, would it be starring in TV dramas or going solo. As of now, “Born Pink” debuted at number one on the Circle Album Chart with 2.2 million copies sold in less than two days, becoming the best-selling album by a girl group in South Korea and the first to surpass two million sales. Members of Blackpink are now promoting their album on various music shows in SK and on American TV. They are doing their best, so let’s support the girls!
