Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp of vanilla
- 5 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup of flour
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1/4 tsp of salt
Milk glaze:
- 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream
- 1 can of condensed milk
1 can of evaporated milk
Whipped topping:
- 2 cups of heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp of vanilla
Topping
- Fresh sliced strawberries
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a medium size baking pan.
- In a small mixing bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside afterward.
- In a medium size bowl, cream together butter and add sugar gradually and mix till fluffy. Mix in the vanilla and add one egg at a time.
- Then add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
- Pour the batter into the pan and put it in the oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let the cake cool completely and then with a fork, poke the cake all over.
- Mix all the milk glaze ingredients together and pour over the cake slowly to let it absorb all the glaze.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Whipped Topping Directions:
- Whip the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla together until stiff peaks.
- Spread over the cake and add sliced strawberries on top.
- Finally, eat and enjoy!
