How is the Moon so Bright?

Have you ever wondered why the Moon is so bright? I was on my way home the other night, and I recognized how bright the Moon actually is. So how exactly does the Moon make its own light? Well, it actually is the opposite. It doesn’t. The only object that produces its own light is the Sun. In return, the light from the Sun beams down onto the Earth and the Moon.

One personality about the Moon that exemplifies humans, is we all have our bad and good days. The Moon isn’t always as bright compared to other nights because one half of the Moon is dark, while the other half is illuminated by the sun. But like humans, the Moon will have its good day(s) and bad days. What makes the Moon so bright is how much of the illuminated part we see. So sometimes we will see the Moon have a good day, and then go downhill.
