Ingredients:
- 1 ¼ cup of powdered sugar
- 1 cup of butter
- One large egg
- 1 tsp of almond extract
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 6 drops of green food coloring
- 2 ¾ of flour
- 1 tsp of salt
- ¾ sliced almonds
- ½ cup of jelly
Directions
- In a large bowl start beating the powdered sugar and butter together for about 2-3 minutes
- Add the egg and continue to beat it
- Add the almond and vanilla extract and food coloring
- In a separate bowl whisk together the flour and salt
- Start putting your line sheets on the baking pans, remove about a quarter of the dough and form it into small balls and form it into little fingers
- Start to make the little decorations on the fingers to make realistic
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and let them cook for 10 minutes
- Lift up the almonds and put them back on the finger
- Dip the finger in some jelly or jam, whatever you prefer.
