Road 96 is a 2021 adventure indie video game developed by French studio DigixArt and I personally believe this is the best story-driven game in modern gaming. It’s honestly an absolute masterpiece. It keep you hooked throughout the ten hours of gameplay; actually, make you think, get excited, and make you rush through different feeling. Road 96 is so refreshing and new from other games.
The storyline is amazing, playing with different characters gives you a fresh experience with great replay value. Then like other games being easily predictable and boring story-telling, Road 96 gives you an unpredictable story that keeps you guessing. The “choice” system is straightforward and only has small consequences. Every named character, even the less pleasant ones is intriguing with their own quirks and backstories. The simple gameplay, soundtrack, characters, and story are an art of perfection. Overall, there’s nothing bad to say about Road 96. It’s one of a kind story-driven adventure game.
