This last weekend on Saturday, October 21, 2023, the Oregon Ducks played their stomp-out cancer game in Eugene Oregon against the, at the time, #9 ranked in the nation, UCLA Bruins. The Bruins entered the game with an undefeated record of 6-0 which solidly placed them at first in the Pac-12 conference. This meant that this game was a battle for the top spot in the conference between the first-place Bruins and the second-place Ducks and provided the winner with a clear path to the Pac-12 championship. Luckily for the Ducks, it was a Bo Nix master class that led them to a 45-30 victory over UCLA. The Oregon quarterback threw for a total of 283 yards and 5 touchdowns with a 78% completion rate. With this important victory, the Oregon Ducks remain undefeated in their conference and have a national record of 6-1, and are currently ranked #8 with good chances at a championship appearance. This is a great position to be in going into next week’s game against the California Golden Bears. Go Ducks.
