Recently I finished “The Man She Married” by Cathy Lamb. I would have to rate this book a 3 out of 5-star rating. This book was interesting and revolved around a mystery taking place, keeping the reader on their toes. However, this book can get boring at times as a reader who may get easily distracted. The couple’s marriage in this story seems to be perfect, until the day that the husband has to tell his wife that he has been living with a fake ID and he is not who he says he is. As the husband reveals his terrifying past the wife tries to get away but gets in a car accident. This car accident was intentional and the husband knows who did it, but he will not tell. The wife is in a long-lasting coma and can hear everything that is going on around her, but she cannot react. The doctors decide to hold off on pulling the plug and she finally wakes up. After getting out of her coma she has intensive physical therapy she has to attend in order to learn how to do daily activities again and as she continues on with her new life there are new threats she keeps receiving and new mysteries to be uncovered.
