Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, has been attacked by an intruder in a targeted attack on the couple’s San Francisco home.

The intruder, identified as 42-year-old David Depape shouted “Where is Nancy” repeatedly before confronting Paul. Chief of police, William Scott, said that when police went to the Pelosi household for a well-being check, officers found Depape and Paul struggling over a hammer until Depape was able to get the hammer away from Pelosi and violently assault him. Upon this, Depape was taken into custody and has been charged with attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, burglary and several other additional felonies.
