Lana Del Rey was born on June 21, 1985, making her zodiac sign Cancer, and currently being the age of 37. Her unprofessional name was Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, but on stage, she was Lana Del Rey. There was an era when she would go by Lizze Grant, she was younger and the music was more personal. When she was younger she struggled with alcoholism and was sent to a boarding school to get sober. Lana Del Rey had her first performance in 2006, it was a singing and songwriting competition. From there she submitted one of her tapes and ended up getting a contract with a lot of profit from it. She kept releasing album after album however, the music grew less personal as she gained more listeners. Lana Del Rey will still make references in her new music when she would share about her life in her songs. Many people said that Lana Del Rey had a unique energy that was magnetic to be attracted to.
Lana Del Rey released a song called Video Games on the internet and it became a world sensation. Her music was different, but vintage with her old-styled fashion. She then released a song called Born to Die which also built up her fame tremendously. Her influence was inspiring to young girls and everyone, rather it was in a bad or good way, would be up to the listeners.
