I have never been an anime fan and was never someone who was interested in it. I have only ever watched movies or tv shows that had to do with action or just any other genre other than anime. So safe to say…I was a hater. I never really understood what was good about it or what interested people and honestly I’m still not too sure but I am glad my great friend Ernesto introduced me to it. I made a joke one day about anime and he suggested I should watch “Death Note”. At first, I laughed and said no way but then went home and put it on anyway. This anime series is about a notebook that is dropped into the human world by a shinigami who is bored with his “life” in the other world. In the human world “Light” picks up this book and is now in charge of the names that are written into it, with the names that are written Light has the ability to kill anyone and how they will die at approximately what time he decides. This series goes on a rollercoaster of events that surround the Death Note. I was never an anime fan and never thought I would be, until after this series. I was hooked after the first few episodes and would definitely watch it again!
