My Top 3 Best BBCOR Bats for the 2023 Baseball Season

With the 2023 season approaching, there are many new baseball bats being released. With that being said, here is my list of the top three BBCOR bats:

At number three, I would have to choose the Demarini VooDoo One. The VooDoo One is a popular one-piece alloy bat that has been widely used in the last 2 years. However, in 2021, there were many reports of these bats breaking. Many people reported the end cap on the bat breaking or the knob of the bat just completely snapping off. When this bat was released, Demarini claimed the issues were resolved, however, this was not the case. There are some reports of the knob breaking so be aware of that if you decide to buy it. So despite being an amazing bat, I would place this at number three just because of the durability issues.

At number two, I think the Louisville Slugger Atlas has earned this spot. Louisville has made some one-piece bats in the past but they have never been really popular or extremely good. I think Louisville did a good job with this bat since it is fairly cheap and the performance is really good. The bat swings pretty balanced as well which makes it pretty likable.

Price: $300

Finally, the number one best BBCOR bat would have to be the Marucci Cat X. This bat is nothing like the previous ones Marucci has made. This bat features an amazing knob that will not give a whole lot of feedback on mis-hits. The Cat X also features a very light swing weight that is comparable to the VooDoo One. This is the most expensive bat of the three, but it is worth it in my opinion. The performance is really good as well and there are a ton of positive reviews with no durability issues.
