Ingredients:
- 5 cans of 14 ounces of Nestle La Lechera Dulce de Leche
- 2 cups of flour
- ⅓ cup of chopped candied assorted fruits
- ⅓ cup of raisins
- ¼ cup of chopped almonds
- 2 ½ cups of butter or one stick of butter
- ½ teaspoon of grated orange peel
- ½ teaspoon of anise seed
- ¼ teaspoon of ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup of evaporated low-fat milk
- 2 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
- One teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Steps :
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Combine flour, candied fruits, raisins, nuts, baking powder, cinnamon, orange peel, anise cloves, and salt in a medium bowl set aside
- Beat the dulce de leche and butter in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time. Gradually stir in the flour mixture until the milk is blended. Pour batter evenly into prepared cans. Place cans on a medium baking sheet
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool, and dust with powdered sugar if you like.
