In the last week, I have tried two different instant hot chocolate mixes. I am a huge hot chocolate fan and the two newest ones I have tried are definitely my top two favorites. Hot chocolate made over the stove is obviously delicious, but we don’t always want to spend the time warming the milk in a pot. It can be hard to find a comparable instant hot chocolate to that made on the stove or bought from a coffee shop, but I have managed to find two that you have to try!
The first instant mix is the Swiss Miss peppermint hot chocolate. If you are a fan of peppermint I guarantee you will like this. It has the perfect peppermint-to-chocolate ratio, not one is more overpowering. It also has mini peppermint marshmallows which I think are adorable.
The other of my favorite mixes is Abuelitas Mexican Style hot chocolate. I am sure many of us have had the solid form of chocolate that you have to mix in a pot with milk. It has always been one of my favorite hot chocolates, but I recently found it in an instant powder form, and I was very excited to try it. I was happy to find that it tastes just as good as the solid, block form. This hot chocolate is rich and has a dash of cinnamon flavor. It is definitely one for cinnamon lovers!
