This week El Diamante is hosting their annual musical January 12-14 at 7:30 p.m. in the LJ Williams theater with a matinee show on the 14th at 2:00.
The musical has had its opening night already, along with a show for elementary school students, which was a huge success. During the children’s show, the kids showed great excitement for the final reunion of Sandy and Danny, played by Spring Warford and Robin Denniz-Fox. The opening night hosted many cheers from the crowd, as well as many chuckles at the light-hearted humor during the show.
What makes the musical even better is that it is fully translated into American Sign Language for the deaf and hard of hearing. This act of inclusivity allows for a much broader audience to be able to enjoy the wonderful production that is Grease.
If you have the chance to come and watch, you definitely should. Tickets are available at the door, costing $10 for students/seniors and $12 for general admission.
