The Chiefs dominated the first half, with quarterback Patrick Mahomes leading the offense to a 13-6 lead. However, the Bengals mounted a comeback in the second half scoring two touchdowns to bring the score to 20-20. With only minutes left in the game, Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense took the field with the mission of scoring a game-winning touchdown. Mahomes showed his impressive skills, leading the team down the field with a series of clutch passes and runs. With time running out, kicker Harrison Butker was able to nail a field goal to give the Chiefs a 23-20 lead, which held up as the final score. Mahomes was the hero of the game, finishing with an impressive 326 passing yards and two touchdowns. The Chiefs’ defense also played a crucial role, coming up with key stops and interceptions to preserve the lead.
