TS Album Review: Lover

Arguably Taylor’s best era, Lover is one of my favorite TS albums ever. This era was filled with vibrant colors, strong statements, and loads of glitter. I think that Lover showcases Taylor’s amazing songwriting skills, as the album includes breakup songs, love songs, and songs about life’s many emotions. Out of all the eras and albums, Lover is one of the eras I’m looking forward to the most to be performed live! All songs on Lover will be ranked from my least to most favorite.

18. False God – It’s perfect in “The Summer I Turned Pretty.”

17. Soon You’ll Get Better – The sweetest song for Taylor’s mom.

16. I Forgot That You Existed – Rep-era Taylor wasn’t dead yet.

15. The Archer – A glimpse into an anxious mind.

14. Afterglow – The bridge is iconic and you can’t tell me otherwise.

13. I Think He Knows – Your heart will be skipping down 16th Avenue.

12. Cornelia Street – Fun fact, it’s a real street in Manhattan.

11. Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince – This would be an adorable couple’s costume.

10. It’s Nice To Have A Friend – Fans of folklore will love this one.

9. Daylight – It’s a gorgeous sunset in a song.

8. Cruel Summer – I need to be in a stadium screaming this song with other swifties.

7.  You Need To Calm Down – She really called out her haters.

6. ME! – The music video is the manifestation of the Lover era.

5. London Boy – Taylor does love her Brits.

4. The Man – This isn’t a love song babe!

3. Death By A Thousand Cuts – I’ll never stop dramatically singing the bridge.

2. Lover – Everything love should be.

1. Paper Rings – It reminds me of romance novels in the best possible way.
