I prefer to be alone, in my own space,
Where I can think and simply be,
With no one else to share my grace,
And no demands put on me.
In solitude, I find my peace,
And quietness, my friend,
Where I can let my thoughts release,
And all the noise comes to an end.
I am not lonely, all alone,
For I have my own company,
And I cherish this time on my own,
In this world of noise and energy.
So let me be, in my own space,
With my thoughts and my own dreams,
For I prefer to be alone, in this place,
Where I am free, and simply me.
