As an individual who lives in Visalia, we are presented with a very interesting decision. It is not a life or death decision, it is smaller than that. We are fortunate to pick one of two options when we want to leave town. We can either go to the beach and visit the ocean or go to the mountains and visit the lake.
Personally, I would pick the beach because there are more things to do around there. The mountains are a very secluded area but when I want to get away I want to have a lot of options to go shopping. I also think that the beach is very calming to a person’s mind or soul. Just hearing the sounds of the waves instantly makes me feel calm, but when at the lake you don’t really get that option.
To add on, I believe a lake is a place where you do a lot of family activities. You can go fishing, exploring, or jet skiing. To me, that is what you do when you want a thrilling trip. Most of the time I really just want to relax. The lake is very beautiful, yet it’s very mysterious which is the part I do not enjoy. In the end, it really depends on what you would want to do or see when going on a trip.
