Read Across America: ASL

For those who are unfamiliar with Read Across America, it is a day dedicated to education and the art of literature. It is every March 2nd. In honor of the holiday, the ASL Club here at El Diamante plans to go to two elementary schools, Linwood and Willow Glen, and read Dr. Seuss books to the students there while a partner interprets them into American Sign Language.

The club will be going to these schools over the course of two days, Linwood on March 2nd and Willow Glen on March 3rd. If anyone is either interested in reading or interpreting for this trip, feel free to contact Mrs. Ruby (kruby01@vusd.org) or the ASL Club at either its Instagram (@edhs.asl) or email (edhsasl@gmail.com).
