Flash floods in the Central Valley

Many have experienced massive destruction with the recent storm of rain. Not just has it already poured so much, but an atmospheric river takes aim at an already storm-battered California. There is also round two of rain coming at the beginning of this week. By Sunday afternoon, many highways in California were already looking like ponds. Not just were highways damaged, but so were homes and other roads. Over 5,000 evacuations have been made in the past few days. The new storm isn’t expected to bring as much rain but there is some lower-elevation flooding to consider that may occur from additional rain, creeks, and streams swollen with snowmelt. To conclude, we should all be prepared for it.
