Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is a fantasy film that made its debut in 2001. This film cost about 93 million dollars to make and ended up grossing about 898.2 million dollars at the box office. It ended up making almost 10 times its budget so needless to say, it was a very popular film. This film takes its inspiration from the Lord of the Rings book series, which I’m sure many of you know. This is the film adaptation of the first book in the series. This film’s plot follows the story of Frodo, a young hobbit who is tasked with taking the One Ring to the place where it was made in order to destroy it. This film is part of a trilogy so if you love to embark on long fantasy journeys, this film is for you.
