Bubble is a 2022 Japanese animated post-apocalyptic film produced by Wit Studio. directed by Tetsuro Araki; known best for his work on The Attack on Titan. Largely regarded for its gorgeous visuals and well-crafted parkour choreography. Bubble takes place in Tokyo, amid a unique and localized post-apocalypse scenario. A sudden and unexplained spout of Bubbles overtakes the center of Tokyo, manipulating the laws of gravity. It follows Hibiki, an introvert diagnosed with hypersensitivity hearing sensitivity. One night, Hibiki plummets into the sea but is saved by a girl named Uta with mysterious powers. Tetsuro Araki was inspired by Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Mermaid. As many people say it’s not as in-depth, but I still believe it’s worth the watch.
