Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is a fantasy film that made its debut in 2003 (one year after the previous installment in the series. This film cost about 94 million dollars to make and ended up grossing about 1.146 billion dollars at the box office (the most out of the 3 films in the series). This film was a huge success and was more successful than the first and second films in the series. This film is an adaptation of the third book in The Lord of the Rings series. This film continues and ends the journey that was started in the first movie as the fellowship finally gets to Mordor. This film features more amazing battles and plot twists that will leave you on the edge of your seat. If you have not yet watched this film, I highly recommend you do so.
