Here’s a story to read before summer arrives at your doorstep. There are many alligators in Alabama and there’s one that enjoys going to the beach. The alligator was spotted at Dauphin Island which was calmly bobbing near the beachgoers. A beachgoer said that the alligator was just enjoying the sun and breaking waves. Alligators are found in Alabama and generally in saltwater bayous and estuaries.
The alligator didn’t hiss or bite or even attempt to charge at anything. People describe the alligator as “kind of spectating and seeing what was going on”. One Beachgoer said “First time seeing a gator on Dauphin Island”. Another witness to the alligator said, “I didn’t want to step foot in the water after that“.
